For all of our courses we offer discounts for those living in lower income countries as defined by purchase power parity (PPP). Applicable discounts are set during the checkout process according to the country that you have entered at checkout and/or registered in your Myopia Profile Academy account settings.
PPP is calculated from a countries GDP and for this purpose we have adopted the same discount structure used by the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) where countries are classified into Group 1 and Group 2. To allow our colleagues from around the world to affordably participate in our online courses we offer 50% discount to Group 1 countries and 30% discount to Group 2 countries. The group classifications can be found in the tables below – countries not listed in these tables are considered not applicable to PPP discount. The discount is applied at the checkout phase and requires to you have entered your country of residence in your Myopia Profile account settings or at checkout.
A note on continued education points: Where a course has been granted CPD/CET classification for a country, CPD/CET accreditation will only be provided at the level purchased. e.g. a course that has been purchased under PPP Group 1 50% discount pricing will not be claimable for CPD/CET accredited in the USA.
