Myopia Profile

Pentacam® AXL Wave

The Pentacam® AXL Wave is the first device to unite five essential diagnostic tools into a single system. It offers wavefront aberrometry of the entire eye which can provide both internal and total corneal assessment; objective refraction based on wavefront aberrometry; retroillumination for pre- and post-op checks of the crystalline lens; optical biometry for precise, contact-free axial length measurement; and Scheimpflug-based tomography, the gold standard for analyzing the anterior eye segment. The Myopia Software now supports data from both the Pentacam® AXL Wave and Myopia Master®, allowing for a flexible setup where you can expand or switch devices without losing existing data. This integration ensures seamless tracking of key progression data essential for effective myopia management, increasing both flexibility and efficiency in daily clinical workflows.
